Meet the team

Karan Rishi

Having qualified from University of Newcastle in 2008, Karan moved back to Yorkshire and joined One Two Three Dental as Clinical Director in 2018. In 2012, Karan completed the examinations to become a member of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) at the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England. Recently, Karan has completed a postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education at the University of Leeds.

Karan has also been selected as Dental Foundation Trainer, where he helps to train and mentor new qualified dentists on behalf of the Yorkshire and Humber Postgraduate Deanery. This prestigious role is something Karan greatly enjoys.

Karan strives to deliver dentistry to the highest standards and ensure that the patient experience is excellent from start to finish. Karan is committed to improvements and regularly attends post graduate courses and lectures to ensure he keeps up to date with advances in the profession.

The focus for Karan is to tailor his care to the patient’s wants and needs. He feels that a holistic approach where listening to a patient’s concerns and expectations and then discussion is key to ensuring we get the right results. Karan relishes building great relationships with his patients and feels this is the most rewarding part of his role. Karan also enjoys helping anxious patients through their treatment.

In his spare time, Karan is learning to play golf and is working on his swing!

Emma Denton

Having worked in dentistry for over 17 years, Emma has progressed her career from apprentice dental nursing, to implant nursing, treatment care coordinating, lead nursing, and to the marketing director of ‘wow’. She is proud to have taken the leap into practice management, and really enjoys leading the fantastic team at One Two Three Dental. She takes pride in all aspects of dentistry, including meeting CQC requirements, taking care of patients, and overseeing our staff.

Outside of work, Emma has two beautiful children, Rosie and Alice, who are a big part of her life. She is currently studying for her level 5 diploma in management.

Numair Moosa

Numair joined the One Two Three Dental Clinic team in 2019 having graduated from the University of Newcastle. Since then, he has completed his Post-Graduate Certification in Implantology, Eduqual (PGCert Dent Imp).

Numair has experience in all aspects of dentistry and is confident in developing his skills to provide the best service and treatment for his patients. His main interests include general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He is a provider of Boutique & Enlighten Tooth Whitening and provides short-term adult Orthodontics. 

Numair is currently further developing his skills & studying a postgraduate certification in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. 

In his spare time, Numair enjoys staying active by regularly going to the gym and playing football. He also enjoys keeping up to date with the latest developments and technologies available in dentistry.

Reuben Donnelly

Reuben graduated from Kings College London, after graduating he took further training in Salisbury and Glasgow. He also works at Leeds University Dental School as a Clinical Teaching Fellow. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and ensures all patients are met with a beaming smile.

He’s a keen amateur cook, enjoys playing tennis and reading in his spare time.

Kate Laidler

Kate graduated from Leeds dental school and gained her post-graduate diploma in 1998.

She is an experienced, knowledgeable dentist with a calm, patient and caring approach. Kate enjoys providing all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including whitening, to restore and enhance patients’ dental health and smiles. She delivers tailored prevention advice too.

Kate has pursued clinical excellence with great determination over the years through post-graduate courses, involvement with the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (Uk) and teaching to deliver the best care for her patients.

She is a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds School of Dentistry, teaching senior dental students every week, so she keeps up with current developments in dentistry.

She also enjoys music, holidays in Italy and Scotland and spending time with her family.

Sanna Mahmood

Sanna is our dedicated hygienist. She graduated in 2020 from Leeds University. She enjoys looking after patient’s oral health discussing all things interdental cleaning, maintaining gum disease and the best toothbrush to use. Her kind and friendly manner makes the patients feel comfortable throughout their appointments.

In her spare time, she likes spending time in London with her friends and helping out at conventions.
