FAQs

How will I know which repair option is best for me?

Please don’t worry – that’s our job! Our dentists will diagnose your issue and propose the best way to treat it during your initial appointment. We always take the time to discuss all the available options with you and work out the best course of action based on your individual needs.

How long will the treatment take?

That really depends on which treatment you need! Some repair treatments, including composite bonding and fillings, only need a single appointment to complete. For a crown, you typically need two appointments to allow time for it to be custom made and fitted correctly. Root canal treatment also usually takes place over 1 or 2 appointments. Your dentist will give you an idea of your treatment time at your initial appointment.

Is the treatment painful?

No. We use modern and effective local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort. Even root canal treatment, which has an unfair reputation, will be undertaken in comfort. Indeed, you will likely feel incredible relief from the pain of your infected tooth instead. Treatments such as composite bonding do not even require any local anaesthetic!
