Improve, Align and Refine your smile

Is there something you don’t like about your teeth?

Are they overcrowded, crooked or simply not the way you want them to look?

Do you long to achieve a stunning straight smile in a short time?

Fastbraces® use revolutionary technology to straighten teeth in a much faster time than conventional orthodontics can. We can use the treatment to align crooked teeth, resolve overcrowding, close gaps and sort issues with your bite. This all has a very positive effect on your oral health too.

Fastbraces® uses brackets that are smaller, more effective and work faster than ever before, combining modern techniques and reliable straightening for a comfortable and successful treatment.

The braces may look very similar to conventional fixed orthodontics with either ceramic (clear) or metal brackets, but work in a different way and achieve a faster outcome.

Why Fastbraces®?

Fastbraces® work much faster than other teeth straightening options, allowing for treatment to progress in a much shorter space of time. They can be used for mild issues up to more moderate and complex cases. We will guide you on the suitability of Fastbraces® for your teeth, and take time to explain the merits and negatives compared with other systems.

Like other orthodontic systems, Fastbraces® gently guide overcrowded, gappy and crooked teeth into better positions, creating a beautiful smile and improved oral health. The system is designed to be more compact than traditional braces, and moves the tooth roots first. This promises fast results while not impacting on the structure of your teeth or health of your mouth.

How do Fastbraces® work?

Similar to conventional fixed braces, Fastbraces® consist of ceramic or metal brackets which are fitted to the surface of your teeth for the duration of your treatment. A wire attached through each bracket exudes gentle forces which guide your teeth into new straighter positions.

We arrange regular appointments during your treatment journey for us to check your progress and adjust your braces as your teeth move. Your dream smile can be achieved in as little as three to twelve months.

The best bit for us is watching you see your new smile for the first time after the braces are removed. We provide you with a retainer to stop your teeth moving out of position and leave you to start smiling with pride!

FAQs

How long will it take to achieve my new smile with Fastbraces®?

Your treatment time will depend on a few factors, including the starting positions of your teeth and how much they have to move to achieve the result you are after. In some cases, treatment can be completed in as little as 16 weeks. Your dentist will be able to give you a better idea of how long your Fastbraces® treatment will take during your initial consultation. Typically though, most people achieve their dream straighter smile in around 6-9 months.

Are Fastbraces® safe?

Yes, Fastbraces® is a well established treatment that is completely safe and effective when supervised by a dental professional. We are fully qualified to advise you on the treatment and ensure it is suitable for your teeth and will achieve your dream outcome.

Are Fastbraces® painful?

As with all orthodontic treatment, you will likely experience some discomfort in the first few days after your braces are fitted, and each time they are tightened. This is temporary, and can be managed with over the counter painkillers if necessary.

Will I need to have any teeth taken out to make room for my Fastbraces®?

Traditional orthodontic treatment usually requires patients to have one or more teeth extracted in order for treatment to be successful, but this is not usually necessary for Fastbraces®. The faster and more predictable straightening method moves your teeth at once, meaning no additional room is needed in your mouth.

How do I know if I am suitable for Fastbraces®?

At your initial appointment, we take time to examine your teeth, ask some questions and ensure you are a suitable candidate for Fastbraces®. Most patients will be suitable, as anyone who can get traditional fixed braces almost always can have Fastbraces® too. If we decide Fastbraces® are not for you, we will discuss your other options for straightening your teeth and improving your smile.

Why do I need to wear a retainer after treatment?

Even after orthodontic treatment has been completed, your teeth continue to move, and have a tendency to return to their original positions unless controlled. Retainers are considered the final stage of treatment, and wearing one is necessary to maintain your new straighter smile. We recommend you wear your retainer overnight for as long as you wish your teeth to stay straight!
